The Lost Tribe of Joseph

The Lost Tribe of Joseph is 2 modern nations. Joseph's son Ephraim is the United Kingdom. Joseph's son Manasseh is the United States.

Joseph is an interesting tribal name because alone Joseph was not a landed tribe of ancient Israel. This is because he was written out of the will by Jacob, and his 2 sons, Ephraim and Manasseh replaced him.

The name Joseph shows up in the seal date system, though, and it identifies the March 1941 signing of the Lend Lease Treaty that established the basis for the United States to fund the United Kingdom in World War II.

Manasseh already has a seal date, in 1776, and it identifies the tribe of Manasseh as the modern United States.

By process of elimination, this leaves the tribe of Ephraim as the modern United Kingdom.

Seal Date Identification

Joseph was not a landed tribe. His two sons each held separate covenantal promises. How could Joseph sign a document? If the two houses of Ephraim and Manasseh signed a document or treaty between themselves. They did, on Joseph's Seal Date. The result: The United States and the United Kingdom identified themselves as modern nations descended from ancient tribes of Israel.

The Seal Date for Joseph landed March 12, 1941. The following is the auditable date report:

Joseph's Seal Date
Wed12932-01-23 AA12 Mar 1941 NS27 Feb 2694 AUC4717223 AAN
3432-01-23 FE27 Feb 1940 OS27 Feb 1941 AD2430066 JDN

This date is when the United States Congress passed legislation, known as the "Lend-Lease" treaty that allowed the United States to fund the United Kingdom, and every other combatant against Nazi Germany, through World War II.

The structure of this treaty is very important to the story. The United Kingdom had been spending national assets in order to buy weapons, food and fuel in her national defense against Nazi Germany. In the fall of 1940 United States President Roosevelt had lent the UK a group of destroyers. It was clear to leaders on both sides of the Atlantic that further aid would be needed. The Americans had to enter the war, at least financially. But how?

Congress had debated this issue throughout the winter. The United States had a National Debt of the time of a staggering $65,000,000,000. This was the result of deficit spending during the depression of the 1930s. The government just couldn't fund a World War with Germany out of her current accounts. The solution was to "Lend and Lease" money and other assets to the United Kingdom with the intent to get that money back after the war.

On the exact day, March 12, 1941, the United States Congress passed the Lend-Lease Legislation. It was rushed from Capital hill to the White House at 3:40 PM where Roosevelt signed it 10 minutes later. He used 6 pens as mementos for the Senators who had help get the legislation through congress. It had passed 317 to 71 with the great majority of congress agreeing with the need, but disagreeing over the mechanisms.

Roosevelt immediately, that afternoon, sent Congress a request for $7,000,000,000. This was 1/3 of the total amount of money used to fight World War I and was a stunning amount of money for the time. This was $57 for each man, woman and child in the United States.

At the end of the War Lend-Lease accounts were settled up. The effect of this legislation was similar to an all-you-can-eat meal at a restaurant. Nations that signed up for support essentially pledged their national assets to the United States in return for as much supplies as were needed to defeat Nazi Germany.

Each nation in turn helped win the war, but when it was over they had given up fixed assets, like Gold Bars, Naval facilities, even sailing ships in return for consumables, notably weapons, fuel and food. The United States retained those fixed assets after the war.

To prevent a relapse of the situation in Germany at the end of World War I where war reparations had contributed to the rise of Nazism, accounts were settled up soon after the war.

Joseph's Story

It is no surprise that this date should be called "Joseph's Seal Date" as the story of the Lend-Lease treaty between the United Kingdom and the United States is essentially the same story as Joseph's story in Egypt.

When Joseph eventually became Prime Minister of ancient Egypt he instigated a plan that worked about the same way. In Joseph's time the 7 year famine (World War II lasted nearly exactly 7 years) was met with food from Joseph's store houses. Everyone in Egypt, as well as the rest of the known world, received grain from the government of Pharaoh. It was this search for food that had brought Joseph's own family down to Egypt for help.

Like the modern United States, Joseph did not just give out handouts. Joseph sold the food he had collected at a steep price. That process eventually enslaved all of Egypt to Pharaoh and his government.

When World War II was over many of the remaining capital assets of the world had been transfered to the United States and this triggered the start of the period when the United States was the dominant economic player in the world. Some have said the reason for this was the way Europe remained in Europe. This story suggests otherwise. The United States was now "banker" to the world. Even today the United States retains economic clout because her banking system supplies money to the world. Money collected because of Lend-Lease.

Identifying the Tribes

Joseph's Seal Date identifies the United States and the United Kingdom as the two nations that make up the ancient tribe of Joseph. There were two national promises to Joseph's sons that sprung from God's promises to Abraham. The following table reviews:

Generation 4 Generation 5 Promise
Rachel
Joseph
Asenath
Manasseh
...become a people, become great.Genesis 48:19
Asenath
Ephraim
...greater, and a group of nations.Genesis 48:19

By inspection it should be relatively obvious from the previous table that the single great nation promise to the tribe of Manasseh is today the modern nation of the United States of America. The community or company of nations is the United Kingdom, or British Commonwealth. These are the two parties that signed the treaty that allowed the United States to fund the war against Nazi Germany. These are the two nations that make up the tribe of Joseph.

Points

There are several interesting components to this structure that are important to note. Manasseh is the son who inherits the double portion birthright promise all the way from Abraham. This double portion aspect of Manasseh is being used on this date too, since Manasseh is in effect party to 2 of the seal dates.

Most of the rest of the tribes also carry their own native tongues. In this case Joseph, the English speaking world, breaks into 2 tribes with the same language, which is another interesting feature.

Note also that both tribes have essentially 50 base component "states."

In the case of the United States those 50 are not international sovereign governments, while in the case of Ephraim they are.

Ad Hoc Identification

Jacob's prophecy about Ephraim:

15And Jacob blessed Joseph his son saying, The god before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked righteously, the god who has supplied my needs from my youth to this day, 16the king who has delivered me from all evil, bless the lads; and let them bear my name and the names of my fathers, Abraham and Isaac; and let them grow and multiply in the middle of the land.

17And when Joseph saw that his father laid his right hand on the head of Ephraim, it displeased him; and he held up his father's hand, to remove it from Ephraim's head to Manasseh's head. 18And Joseph said to his father, Not so, my father; for this is the firstborn; put your right hand on his head. 19But his father refused, and said, I know it, my son, I know it; he also will become a people, and he also will be great, but his younger brother will be greater than he, and his seed will become a multitude of nations. 20And he blessed them that day saying, By you Israel will bless, and they will say, May god make you as Ephraim and as Manasseh; and thus he set Ephraim before Manasseh. Genesis 48:15-20

The blessing given to Ephraim and Manasseh upset their father Joseph because Jacob appeared to be changing the natural birthright promises.

The passage suggests that Manasseh would inherit Abraham's Great Nation promise while Ephraim would become a community of nations.

Of course this is how it worked out, the United Kingdom is a nation, but also a network of related nations including Canada, Australia, New Zealand and many others.
